Session 3: Teaching

Two young chefs in red hats smile in front of the buffet line

In this session, you will see, through the lens of the parable of the mustard seed, how the educational ministries of the Diocese of Jerusalem follow Jesus’s teachings that out of small beginnings can come great things. School leaders and students in the West Bank city of Ramallah share the challenges of their daily lives. The Arab Evangelical Episcopal School (AEES) and the Episcopal Technological and Vocational Training Center (ETVTC) have grown through the persistence, passion, and vision of their leaders and staff. Both offer a safe, peaceful, nurturing environment.

These schools allow for the growth of their students – like tiny mustard seeds that grow into sheltering trees – into confident, compassionate, bridge-building Palestinian leaders of the future.
