“The Health Situation In Gaza Is In Deterioration”

Ms Suhaila Tarazi, director of Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City, talked with AFEDJ’s John Lent in East Jerusalem on February 27, 2019.
She spoke about the dire conditions the people of Gaza encounter each day and, in this video, about the challenges staff of Ahli Hospital face while working to maintain critically-needed health services for the thousands of Gazans they serve each year. All patients are welcomed at Ahli regardless of their religion, ethnicity, or ability to pay.
Ahli, a charitable hospital founded in 1882, is owned and operated by the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem and supported by the American Friends of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem (AFEDJ).
